Instead, we carefully match you with independent caregivers based on your specific care needs and preferences. Because we don’t take a cut of the caregiver’s hourly rate, families pay less while caregivers earn more. The result is greater control, flexibility, and transparency for everyone.
What types of care does Kizuna support?
Caregivers on Kizuna offer non-medical support like personal care, meal prep, companionship, transportation, and light housekeeping. Many also have experience with conditions like dementia, stroke recovery, and cancer care.
How are Kizuna caregivers vetted?
To become a caregiver on Kizuna candidates must have a verifiable state-issued caregiving certification, pass a phone screen, provide two references and complete a comprehensive background check. Our rigorous screening criteria means only 10% of caregivers are accepted.
What happens if my caregiver is unavailable?
In case of emergencies, we’ll coordinate a temporary caregiver replacement when possible.
How does pricing work?
Kizuna operates on a simple, transparent pricing model: we charge a 10% fee on the total care hours. There are no hidden costs, just pay-as-you-go support that scales with your care needs.

Absolutely! You’ll have the opportunity to meet caregivers virtually or in person before making any commitments, so you can feel confident in your choice.
